Asian Chestnut Dip
This refreshing recipe combines the unique flavor and texture of chestnuts with classic Asian ingredients to create a dip that the whole family will enjoy.

7 ounces ready to eat cooked peeled chestnuts, chopped
1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
2 Tbsp minced celery
2 Tbsp minced green onion
2 Tbsp snipped cilantro
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp minced ginger root
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp rice vinegar
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
garnish- minced red pepper and cilantro sprig


Place all ingredients in a food processor; process till desired consistency. Serve with crudites.

Serves 6.
