Description 


The Ghost Chili, or Bhut Jolokia (Capsicum chinense), is among the hottest chili peppers in the world!

Similar in appearance to Habanero peppers, Ghost chilies have a distinctive rough, rugged skin. Their flavor and aroma is smoky and sweet - if you can stand the heat!

Also known as the Naga Jolokia and Bih Jolokia, it has been measured at over 1,000,000 Scoville units - compared to Tabasco Sauce at 2,500 - 5,000 Scoville units.
That's one hot chili pepper!

Suggested Use:
Ghost Chilies are very, very, very hot! Use them sparingly. Add a little to fresh salsa, sauces, chili - anywhere you want to start a 12 alarm fire!

Ingredients:
Dried Ghost Chilies

Caution: One of the World's Hottest Chilies! Use of gloves when preparing these chilies is strongly recommended. Handle with extreme care - do not get into the eyes, nose, lips or sensitive areas. Flush with water to relieve symptoms.

To use:
First, rinse with warm water. Soak in hot water for 10 minutes to rehydrate. Once rehydrated, dice or puree and add to a recipe.
