Woodears have a slightly crunchy texture which adds interest to many Asian dishes; especially soups and stir-frys. Their flavor is delicate and readily absorbs the taste of other ingredients.

Traditionally used in Chinese-style meat and vegetable dishes. Also excellent in mushroom soups, risottos, omelettes, and quiche.
