Similar in flavor appearance to the true porcini (Boletus edulis), this South American Bolete (Boletus luteus) grows in the highlands of Chile, and is dried over open fires rather than in ovens, giving it a rich, smoky flavor.

Excellent for sauces, these mushrooms impart a rich, earthy flavor.
