To re-hydrate for recipes, pour 1 1/3 cups boiling water onto 8oz of chips in a bowl. Let sit, stirring occasionally for a few minutes allowing chips to absorb water. Chestnuts are now ready to add to any recipe including vegetable dishes like green beans, brussel sprouts, salads, & stuffing mix. Puree for use in soups and desserts. For a sweet, crunchy nutty flavor, liberally add contents of pouch to favorite recipes. Crush chips and combine with batter for breading fish or meat.
