2013 Season Over. Returning Fall 2014
Olives are one of the oldest cultivated foods known to man. As delicious as olives can be, they are not edible until they have gone through a curing process that removes the extremely bitter compounds that they naturally contain. While most people simply buy cured, ready to eat olives, many others enjoy preparing their own olives as part of their traditional culture or simply because they like to make their own from scratch.
While curing olives is a lengthy process, it's not particularly difficult.
