Lavender Salt
Homemade lavender salt has a refreshing, herbal aroma and flavor that is superb with vegetables, potatoes, meats, poultry and seafood.
Ingredients:

2 Tbsp dried lavender
1/4 cup Fleur de Sel sea salt



Directions:


Bruise the lavender slightly in a mortar and pestle or with a rolling pin on a cutting board to help release the flavor and essential oils.

 

Mix well with the sea salt and place in a tightly sealed jar.

 

Use immediately or store indefinitely. The flavor of the lavender will become more pronounced over time.
