Melfor is a truly unique vinegar from Fernand Higy, a firm with its roots in Alsace, France. The company was founded in 1922 by Fernand Higy who originated the recipe for the unique vinegar which he christened "Melfor".

Unique among vinegars, Melfor is used like other vinegars - but is far more than just an ordinary vinegar. Lighter than wine vinegar, it is a condiment based on vinegar, honey and an infusion of herbs grown since ancient times. Its mildly sharp, well balanced taste is ideal with salads and crudites and forms the perfect base for a fine vinaigrette dressing.
