Pan-seared Steak with Herbes de Provence
If it's raining or it's winter and grilling is not in the cards, this is a delicious alternative, which is a Classic recipe.
Melt the butter in a heavy-bottomed skillet.
Meanwhile, generously sprinkle the steaks with the Herbes de Provence, pepper and a little salt.
When the butter begins to brown slightly, turn up the heat to medium-high and place the steaks in the skillet. Turn after 2 - 3 minutes and brown on the other side.
Cook an additional 2 - 3 minutes, or until done to taste.
Place on serving plates and finish with additional Fleur de Sel to taste.
