Red Lake Nation Wild Plum Jelly is made from the abundant, wild-growing Prunus americana, a tasty, wild native species of plum. Its tangy sweet-sour flavor and rich, ruddy color are unforgettable.

Red Lake Nation jams, jellies and syrups are created from wild-harvested berries gathered in the north woods of Minnesota by the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians.

The Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians still occupies their homeland in northern Minnesota. The reservation completely surrounds Lower Red Lake, the state's largest lake, and includes a major portion of Upper Red Lake. The Red Lake tribal government has full sovereignty over the reservation, making it truly the "Red Lake Nation."
