Cut a cardboard egg carton in half crosswise.
Place one medium sized fresh truffle in the center of each carton and fill the carton with eggs.
Enclose the cartons in a plastic bag and seal. Store them in the refrigerator for about three days.
Do not store in this manner for more than one week, as the lack of oxygen may cause them to spoil. The eggs will absorb the truffle flavor. Use them for scrambled eggs, omelets, or deviled eggs.
