Winter Cherry Salad

Winter Cherry Salad
An easy, refreshing salad for those times when fresh cherries aren't available. Vitamin C in a salad.

1 cup dried cherries
2 kiwi, peeled and sliced
2 large naval oranges, peeled and sectioned
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped salted almonds


Place dried cherries, kiwi slices and orange sections in a large salad bowl.


Combine orange juice and cinnamon in a small bowl and mix well.

Pour spiced orange juice mixture over the fruit mixture and mix gently.

Refrigerate, covered, 1 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.


Sprinkle with Almonds just before serving.

Recipe makes 6 servings.
