Thai Burgers

Thai Burgers
Many people just can't get along without their charcoal cooked burgers in the summertime, and why should they have to, after all? But if you're looking for a more interesting way to make your burgers, you might want to try this recipe.
Ingredients:

1 3/4 pound ground round beef
1/2 cup bread crumbs
2 tablespoons lemon grass, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons minced shallots
2 red chile peppers, deseeded and minced
1/4 cup chopped peanuts
sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
2 limes

Preparation:
Fire your grill with enough briquettes to get it good and hot.
In a large bowl, mix the ground round, bread crumbs, lemon grass, shallot, chili paste, and peanuts. Season with salt and pepper. Form the meat into patties. Do not add the peanuts until you're just about ready to grill, otherwise they will get soggy.
Lightly oil the grate, then place the burgers on the grill. Cook for about three to five minutes per side.
Remove from the grill and sprinkle the burgers with lime juice.
