Honey bees forage high in the Rocky Mountains of the Western United States collecting the nectar of wildflowers and turning it into a remarkably unique honey. Wildflower honey is spicy to the taste with a hint of cinnamon in its fragrant aroma.

To serve, cut the comb from its frame, taking care to hold it over a dish. Enjoy sweet wildflower comb honey on corn bread, pancakes, scones, or simply by itself.

To store, cover the honey well and for long term storage, keep it in the freezer.

Cranachan
